ZSW 12.7 REMOTE CONTROLLED GUN TURRET

The ZSW-12.7 is intended for helicopters and aircrafts as a steady onboard armament – it is integrated with onboard remote controlled weapon system connected to the turret mounted under fuselage. The weapon system is controlled by helmet mounted steering device (e.g. “Orion” system). It is for self-defense of an aircraft and at the same time for annihilation of combat equipment (e.g. technical devices, lightly armored military vehicles, targets covered with light field shields, helicopters and aircrafts at the airport, radar and transponder stations, opto-electronic devices etc.). The turret can reach targets on the ground, in the water and in the air within a 2000 m distance.
